The UK AI Policy Timeline is a curated record of significant UK AI policy events, intended as the evidence base for the UK AI Watch scorecard. Inclusion is selective: events are listed where they materially relate to one or more of the 25 recommendations in Making AI Work for Britain, or where they shape the UK AI policy landscape in ways relevant to those recommendations.
Each entry links to the recommendations it affects. Hover over the # icon on any entry to copy its permalink for citation.
